ACS Professors

This directory includes all American Cancer Society (ACS) Professors.

The awards are intended to provide preeminent cancer researchers with the flexibility to investigate innovative avenues of study. They're also expected to have leadership roles in the cancer research community, including being spokespeople for the American Cancer Society.

The ACS Professor Award is the most prestigious grant made by our national program. These full professors have histories of pioneering, influential work and mentoring that’s continuing to change the direction of cancer research. While the grant term is 5 to 10 years, those awarded may use the title ACS Professor for the remainder of their careers.”
