Rand Sakka, MPH, is an associate scientist II in health services within the Surveillance & Health Equity Science department at the American Cancer Society (ACS). Her research interests include the link between cancer and climate change, epidemiology, and healthcare disparities.
Research focus and accomplishments
Before ACS, Sakka worked on various projects at the World Health Organization including Childhood Obesity, Ear and Hearing Care, and Salt Reduction.
At the Florida Department of Health, Sakka started as a Novel Coronavirus Disease Investigator and was promoted to the Lead of the Data Team.
