What Inspires Me
I joined the American Cancer Society because I am passionate about contributing to research that can alleviate the disproportionate burden that cancer places on many communities. I am proud to say that I work for the American Cancer Society because of the strides being made in cancer research and the focus on improving the lives of patients and families.”
At ACS since 2024
Jessica Gerald, MPH, is a study coordinator in the Population Science department at the American Cancer Society (ACS). She aids recruitment efforts for the VOICES of Black Women Cohort Study through the maintenance of organizational relationships and volunteer support.
Research focus and accomplishments
Before joining ACS, my research focused on the intersection of chronic disease and nutrition. I have experience in community-based research focused on health equity in Atlanta, GA.
