At ACS since 2021
Angela Giaquinto, MSPH, is an Associate Scientist II in the surveillance team within the Surveillance & Health Equity Science department at the American Cancer Society (ACS).
She leads the research and development of the Cancer Facts & Figures for African Americans and Cancer Facts & Figures for Breast Cancer, which are produced every 3 years.
Research focus and accomplishments
Giaquinto’s research interests include:
- Racial and ethnic health disparities
- Cancers related to infectious agents
- Cancer and the environment
