  • White men: 179
  • White women: 131

  • Black men: 208.3
  • Black women: 144.7

  • American Indian and Alaskan Native (AIAN) men: 207.4
  •  AIAN  women: 158.7

  • Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) men: 107.5
  • AAPI women: 82.6

  • Hispanic or Latino men: 126.8
  • Hispanic or Latino women: 93.2

For every racial group, men had a higher death rate than women.

Black men have the highest cancer death rate while death rates for women are highest among AIAN populations.

For both men and women, AAPI individuals have the lowest death rates.
